ARLINGTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mar 5, 2019–Excella, a pioneer in Agile technology solutions in the D.C. area, today announced a $49.5 million contract award to support the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate . The Risk and Fraud Analytics and Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) (RFAD) project is a three-year engagement that will leverage advance data and analytics, Agile and DevSecOps to identify and mitigate immigration fraud.

The Excella team will provide data science expertise, along with machine learning algorithms, natural language processing and DevSecOps processes to support RFAD. The program will use a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) approach to adopt cutting-edge best practices for USCIS Information Technology (IT) delivery. Excella’s experts will provide data analytics capacity and the ability to perform fraud detection, monitoring and compliance, and fix data by leveraging new tools in a Big Data Analytics Platform for USCIS.
